Dave Keith is a 3rd generation custom home builder and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from CSU Sacramento. Having started in construction in his teens, he has vast experience in all aspects of the industry. He is a licensed general contractor and electrician.

Career Journey

After graduating, Dave joined Shell Oil Company in 1992, where he worked in marketing management for 10 years. After leaving Shell, Dave co-founded K2 Environmental with his brother Eric in 2002, which specialized in mold and water damage remediation.

He and his brother Eric eventually sold K2 to a national company in 2006. Dave then went on to start NBE Property Restoration with his father, which quickly became one of the leading mold remediation companies in the Bay Area Wine Country.

Building SCB & NBE

In 2015, the company expanded to include residential remodeling, general construction services, and new home construction. SCB Builders became the parent company of NBE Property Restoration.

In 2018, SCB and NBE became instrumental in restoring and rebuilding homes that were damaged or burned down in the devastating Sonoma County Tubbs Wildfire. SCB completed rebuilding the first five homes in one of the most devastated neighborhoods before any other homes were even started. They received many accolades from residents, the Bay Area, and elected officials for their ability, skill, care, and dedication to restore and rebuild the community.

Personal Life

Dave is married to KO, who is SCB/NBE's Operations Manager. Dave is father to four grown children and is a grandfather to four grandchildren. He is an avid trail runner, and enjoys tending to his three-acre farmhouse property in the Wine Country which has a petite Zinfandel vineyard.
